Skelia’s Employees Participate in a Series of Charitable Initiatives
Sharing is caring, so we are always looking for new opportunities to assist charitable causes and support giving programs through volunteering our time and donating resources.
Over the past few weeks, Skelia has participated in the charitable initiative promoted by the Maltese Aid Service in Lviv. Their volunteers collected letters to St. Nicholas from several orphanages, where children were asking for winter clothes, toys, stationery, skis, etc. Our staff played the role of St. Nicholas for 16 kids and gathered all of the gifts they asked for. In total, about 40 employees got involved in this cause. Our team has been actively supporting this initiative for many years and encourages all colleagues to engage.
Next month, Skelia is launching another holiday giving the campaign to provide for the current needs of Slavske boarding school. We are also planning to host a shadow puppet theatre for the kids.
And last but not least, Skelia and its employees are joining the annual IT St. Nicholas initiative to raise much needed funds for buying vital medical equipment for children with cancer.
Have you got inspired? It’s because of all willing to pitch in that kids can enjoy their holiday gifts! Thank you all, each and every one of you, who gave to the causes that matter.
Let’s keep it going! Get involved in charitable giving and make a difference in this world. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
