Skelia celebrates Belgian National Day in Lviv
The Honorary Consulate of Belgium in Ukraine has organized for the second time in Lviv the celebration of the Belgian National Day. Skelia was proud to be the main sponsor of this celebration.
More than 400 guests had a unique opportunity to listen to classical guitar performed in Lviv Philharmonic by the talented young Belgian guitarist Aram Van Ballaert.
Hosted by Mr Yaroslav Hartsula, Honorary Consul of Belgium in Ukraine, the celebration was attended by Mr Marc Vinck, Ambassador of Belgium, vice mayor of Lviv Mr. Vasyl Kosiv, Mr. Lev Zakharchyshyn – head of the department of international cooperation of Lviv oblast state administration, representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs in Lviv, representatives of the diplomatic corps of the city, Belgian community of the Western region of Ukraine, business community, representatives of mass media.
Aram Van Ballaert is perceived as an extraordinary and adventurous musician. He released 2 solo recordings which drew the attention by their originality. Aram performed with renowned orchestras and ensembles like the Royal Philharmonic, the Brussels Philharmonic, Ictus, Piacevole and I Fiamminghi. Besides his musical career, Aram Van Ballaert is a teacher ‘classical guitar’ and ‘improvisation’ at the famous Lemmens Institute (University for Science and Arts) in Louvain.
