Technical QA Engineer (Manual and Automation)
Skelia invites Technical QA Engineer (Manual and Automation) for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Kyiv, Ukraine. You will be a part of the extension team of well-known international travel company.
As a part of a Scrum team, you will work with exciting features aimed at helping our users easily find the best options.
Mission
As a QA Engineer, you will be a part of a Scrum team and will be responsible for the whole set of manual and automation activities, as well as for the continuous improvement of the product and QA processes:
Test design
Documentation review
Test execution (Smoke, Regression, Sanity)
Release organizing and support
3rd party post-release testing
Test reporting
API automation (TypeScript, Request.js, Mocha),
GUI automation (TypeScript, WebdriverIO, Mocha, Chai)
Participation in process improvement, adopting new tools and technologies, implementing best practices
Requirements
Experience in testing of web applications (2+ years)
Practical experience in test automation using JavaScript/TypeScript
Good understanding of REST/SOAP API
Experience in technical testing (e.g. reading logs, Web Developer Toolbar, Fiddler)
Profound theoretical background in SQA methodology and process, test types classifications
Experience with cross-browser testing and/or cross-mobile platform testing
Deep knowledge of test design techniques and ability to implement them practically
Experience in the creation of different kinds of test documentation
Experience in scripted and exploratory test execution
Experience in usage defect tracking systems (preferably Jira)
Good understanding of Web technologies and concepts (HTML, CSS, JS, XML, JSON)
Eagerness to learn test automation tools and technologies and implement them practically on a constant basis
Upper-intermediate spoken and written English
Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Will be a plus:
Experience with Performance testing, AWS, WebdriverIO
Awareness of automation design patterns
Experience working with e-commerce products
Excellent communication both (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
Attention to details
Proactive, results-oriented personality
