Founder and CEO
Patrik is Co-founder and the beating heart of the company. Aside from work, Patrik has great interests in nature and people photography, rock festivals, exploring new cultures and driving in classic car rallies.
With over 30 years of experience in the international IT industry, Patrik has brought vast entrepreneurial, technical and business qualifications to Skelia to become an award-winning company backed by over 300 team members. Born and raised in Belgium, Patrik has always been driven by the joy of creation, attracted by the unknown, inspiring challenges and finding creative ways to transform ideas into businesses that have an impact.
Together with his Belgian Co-entrepreneurs, Patrik founded Skelia as a new venture in 2008. Anticipating changing company needs originating from the financial crisis that same year and continued IT talent shortage, a transparent business model was crafted with the goal of solving traditional outsourcing roadblocks, such as employee turnover, cultural differences, management overheads and evolving needs. A remarkable business experience was born, being as close as possible to having your own employees, as if Skelia builds and operates a new customer office in Eastern Europe.
Prior to Skelia, Patrik held international executive positions at Accenture, DXC, CGI and Econocom. He was actively involved in corporate turnarounds, mergers, acquisitions, and divestments. Patrik has also successfully launched several startups and became a seed investor.
He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering & Computer Sciences from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
