On May 25 Skelia Ukraine celebrated its 4th anniversary in the Carpathian mountains together with all invited employees. Patrik Vandewalle, CEO and cofounder of Skelia, explained why he is proud of Skelia’s inspiring team members, its solid track record and market position, as well as why he is optimistic on Skelia’s business perspectives for the coming years.
Skelia’s ICT professionals together with all administrative staff and colleagues from partner companies celebrated 4 years of successful collaboration at the 4th Anniversary Company Day. The event took place in the Tustan city-fortress dated back to the 9th century located in Urych village in the Skole area.
Several sports competitions were organized, followed by an open air BBQ and campfire.

Testing mobile apps, a growing nightmare…
Mobile applications are increasingly business critical for B2C companies like banks, news publishers and e-shops while end users don’t have a lot of patience with such apps. If something bothers them, they simply delete the app and move on.

There is still a fundamental misperception that successful testing of app functionality on one device provides assurance across all others of the same operating system. However, testing on all possible combinations is impractical and expensive. One needs to consider a testing strategy as a trade-off between cost, quality and time-to-market.
